Jesus said, “I am the Good Shepherd. A good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” Good Shepherd Sunday reflects the constant intention and attention of our Risen Savior for each individual, especially anyone who feels alone, lost, ignored, alienated or simply forlorn.
Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” (JN 20:26-27)
