Baby Item Drive for Mary's Helping Hands - May 6 & 7th
Mary’s Helping Hands is a non-profit organization that provides hope, love, and support to families in Iowa with basic necessities for their child’s first years of life. With the help of generous donors, they provide baby clothes (infant to size 2T), diapers, nursing accessories, baby towels and blankets, small toys and books, maternity clothes, etc. Click here for a list of what they accept. In March and April of this year alone they were able to assist 357 mothers.
On May 6th from 3-6pm and May 7th from 8am-Noon there will be a drive to collect gently used & new items for Mary’s Helping Hands at all Boone County Catholic Churches (Boone, Ogden, Madrid). Playpens will be set up at Sacred Heart, St. Malachy and Sacred Heart School to collect items as well.
If you do not have items to donate but still feel called to give, you can make a monetary donation during the drive or online at www.maryshelpinghandsiowa.org. Items will be collected at all weekend Masses as well.
